Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups chopped almonds

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
