What to Do If You Spill Water on Your Phone
The best method to remedy an awful mark on your phone is
turning it off completely, then re-wiping all the water off of the device in
short intervals. The most effective approach to clean up marks on your device
is simply by using a solution that cleanses and clears away dirt and grime from
your machine frequently. However, you can also buy devices with cleaning
solutions for extra comfort. For example, this iPad can do it if you have an
iPhone or iPod touch and you want to clean it up. There are many different ways
to use cleaning products on your mobile device. Here's how to choose one for
yourself.
Make sure the surface on the device you're attempting to remove bad marks is always clear. To make certain, go over the edges of the screen until they appear clear. Then turn off the computer until the area where the scratches appear is totally clear. Then begin flicking at the touchscreen surface with the backspace feature of Windows 8 on PCs and laptops. This way you can locate the source of the scratch easily before actually damaging it. Once more, take note of when the pad is really hard to reach or if the scratch isn't easy to wipe out entirely. In case the damage appears to be worse than can be wiped away with normal methods of cleaning, consider applying a piece of tape or a drywalling paper. Just don't try to erase or scrape anything else in the way of marking anything else. That way you'll just ruin it later if you can't fix the marks. Make sure you write down the date and time on your pad so you remember if there's a similar mark on another part of the device in the past. Take note of any mark or scratch that has been erased or changed and what kind of mark it used to be. This will help you better understand what you need to keep an eye on, what should be avoided, and how to prevent future problems. When you notice a particular spot become difficult to get rid of, think about what parts of that place are important to protect, such as windows and other critical areas to avoid the deterioration of these parts.
If possible, have the cleaner put a cloth mask on your
workspace so you don't have to constantly clean the small spots around the
phone. Put on gloves or apply a tissue to ensure no other area is harmed and
try again. Repeat this process for each mark you experience. One thing that you
can do to get more serious marks off the device by scrubbing them away with
soap is to use some sort of wet washcloth. Washing the device with a damp cloth
allows the dirt and grimes to stick to the inside of the device. Because they
are already stuck to the internal components of your equipment, the dirt and
grime won’t harm the electronics it represents any longer. Since it's not going
to affect the circuitry or other parts of the equipment you're trying to
remove, you can remove the dirt and grime without affecting the functioning of
the device.
If you notice that the device is marked with sticky stuff,
you may just have the problem of a sticky pad that needs to be removed. But
it's not as simple as just popping off and looking at your gadget. Cleaning the
surface that has sticky residue, will require scrubbing and scraping the
surface of the pad, followed by a soft brush. A soft brush might yield a
smoother result if you use it regularly, but it works best on stubborn stains.
Use a paper towel to apply a strong, gentle scrub into the pad so the grime and
grime are removed. Next, put a new pad on top of the dirty pad you used to keep
the device so that the debris collects on the surface again. Keep doing this
until a new pad comes in handy. Be sure not to leave this pad unattended
because any moisture left on the surface can transfer to the pad. After a
couple of days and weeks, you may feel that the pad is finally free of dirt and
grime. Now try to gently squeeze the pad closed until all the grime and grime
that's trapped inside has been sucked out by the pad. Also, open the pad and
let the pad dry without touching anything else on the pad. Finally, return the
pad and wait until there's little to no moisture left to collect on the pad.
Wait two days for the pad to dry completely and then you may begin wiping away
the excess materials so that the surface doesn't seem to matter. This will give you
a clearer picture that the pad still contains too much grime and grime. At a
minimum, use a soft brush to scrub away any remaining grime and grime. And
afterward, use a soft brush to apply some fabric to cover the pad and bring the
pad out of any sticky substances that it has collected. Another method is to
use an old t-shirt or shirt that has a rough texture on the outside for
cleaning purposes. Wrap it around the pad and scrub it so that it's comfortable
to wear around the pad to pick up the grime.
